Have you ever wondered what your future holds? Have you ever thought about getting a Tarot reading to find out? If so, you are not alone. Many people believe that tarot readings can help them understand their life path and make predictions about their future.
But is it really true? Can tarot readings really help you understand your life path and make predictions about your future?
The answer is, it depends.
While some people believe that tarot readings are accurate and can be helpful, others find them inaccurate and not helpful. It varies from person to person.
There is a lot of debate surrounding the validity of tarot readings for predicting the future. Some say that it is nothing more than superstition, while others believe that tarot readings can help you tap into your subconscious mind and provide guidance for your life path. So, what is the truth? Can tarot readings help you achieve success and happiness in your life?
My Journey with Tarot
Over a year ago, my life seemed to be one big mess. I lost my job because of the pandemic, got pregnant with our third kid, and suddenly, my husband decided to quit his very stable job to chase his dream of becoming a game developer. I was at my wit’s end, feeling lost and hopeless.
A friend suggested that I tried a tarot reading and told me how freak-out she was with how accurate it was. She said that the reading had helped her make some significant decisions in her life and that she found herself feeling more confident and optimistic about the future.
I was hesitant at first, but after my friend insisted that it could help me get some clarity on my life path, I decided to give it a try. It was somehow during late summer/early fall 2021. As I said, my life was in complete shambles. I just needed to know whether I could ever get out of this situation and find some peace and happiness in my life. Since it was impossible to meet her in person (as my friend did earlier), we had an online reading via Zoom with me recording the conversation for further review.
The reading started with a general question about my current situation and what I hoped to get out of the reading. That Q & A thing with the tarot reader quickly made me feel more comfortable, and I soon found myself opening up about my life, my hopes, and my fears.
Unlike I assumed and unlike my previous experience with any other kind of readings (e.g., palm reading, etc.), the tarot reading didn’t shuffle the deck. Instead, she started to sound like a psychologist, asking questions and giving comments, etc. Although her questions, comments, and guidelines were helpful, nothing she said was particularly earth-shattering or groundbreaking.
In the end, I left the reading feeling a bit disappointed because I was hoping to get some clarity on my life path and what the future might hold for me. But alas, the tarot reading couldn’t provide that for me.
At the very end of the session, she finally shuffled the deck and laid out the cards. She started to interpret them, and I felt so good about that in the end. She said that the near future would be brighter, and my “wish” would be granted by winter this year or by the end of winter — the beginning of 2022.
It just didn’t happen. I’m sitting here today, almost finished with the first six months of 2022, and still no sign of any improvements in my life. So, was the tarot reading accurate? Or was it just a load of BS?
My Second Try with Tarot Reading
This time, I booked another online reading session after watching the reader’s hundreds of videos on YouTube for a while. I was more comfortable with this reader as I knew what to expect from her readings.
The reading started differently, precisely what I expected it should be. She began with questions regarding my name, birthday, and what I was looking for in the reading. After that, she shuffled the deck and laid out the cards. This time, we only had an audio call since she claimed that a video call might distract her from the reading.
The interpretation of the cards was interesting. Since I opted for general reading covering 12 months, starting from March 2022 to March 2023, the reading was very detailed and comprehensive, with each month having its section.
In general, the reading was upbeat and optimistic, with a few months being particularly challenging. She even said that I would get new job opportunities starting in June, and it will become a reality by July/ August.
So, we will see…
My Final Thoughts
So far, my experience with tarot reading has been quite disappointing. I’m not sure if I believe in tarot readings anymore. After my experience, I’m more inclined to think that it’s all just superstition and that there’s no way that tarot readings can help you tap into your subconscious mind or provide guidance for your life path.
I’m not sure if I believe in tarot reading 100%, but I must say that if you decide to give it a try, be prepared to be disappointed. But who knows? Maybe I just had a bad experience. Perhaps if I tried it again with another tarot reader, I might have a different experience. Who knows?
